For a century, grain elevators stood watch - their strong vertical spines reaching along Saskatchewan railway lines. Short-term hotels for the world’s ultimate food basket.
I photograph these structures not as ruins from the past, but as cultural markers for future generations to respectfully remember their finite role in Canada’s history... and perhaps to ask ‘what comes next?’
